Medea located in the best and safest neighbourhood of Barcelona - the Eixample. Close to Passeig de Gracia and only a 10-minute walk away from Plaça Catalunya.

There's convenient public transportation nearby – the metro, the train, and the buses.

All of Barcelona's architectural attractions, Sagrada-Familia", "La Pedrera" and "Casa Batllo" are also within a walking distance.

HOW TO ARRIVE

To get from the Barcelona Airport to Hostal Medea you have different options:

1. With the Train. If you are in T1 you can take a free bus which goes to T2 and take the train there. Then you have to stop in Passeig de Gràcia and from there you walk 5-10 minutes to the hostel. Price: 2,15€

2. With the standart bus. You can take the bus L46 and stop in Plaça d'espanya, there you have to take the metro L3 and stop in Diagonal or Passeig de gràcia, walking distance to the hotel 5-10 min. Price: 2,15€

3. With the metro. You can take the metro L9 and stop in Collblanc, there you take the line 5 and stop in Verdaguer, then you walk 5 minutes to the hotel. Price: 4,50€

4. With the Aerobus. You can take the Airbus and stop in Plaça Catalunya. Price: 5,90. There you can take the metro L3 and stop in Diagonal or Passeig de Gràcia. Price: 2,15. Total price: 7,05€.

5. With Taxi. Price: 30-40€. We recommend this option if you have a lot of bags.
